“A Thousand Words,” Eddie Murphy‘s most recent movie, has been released on DVD and Blu-Ray. Directed by Brian Robbins (“Norbit,” “Wild Hogs“) the family-friendly comedy features Murphy as Jack McCall, a big shot literary agent who can guarantee a closed deal based on his charm and his fast-talking ways. However, when New Age guru Dr. Sinja (Cliff Curtis) comes into McCall’s life and magically places a Bodhi tree in the agent’s back yard, McCall quickly learns that he only has about 1,000 words left to speak before dying.

Included in the film’s ensemble cast are Kerry Washington, Ruby Dee, and John Witherspoon. A film for those from all generations, “A Thousand Words” centers on an important message that McCall must learn how to value life and the people around him. Both the DVD and Blu-Ray include several hilarious special features and are set to hit stores today.
