Alfre Woodard would like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the world depicted in the studio’s television shows to collide onscreen.

The actress, who is reprising her role as Mariah Dillard in the second season of Marvel’s Luke Cage, said she would like to see Mike Colter, who plays the titular character, in the movies.

“I want the worlds to cross … all the worlds,” she told EBONY. “If you’re in the same universe, you got to bump into each other [at] some point.”

Woodard is one of few actors who has appeared in both Marvel’s film and television properties. She had a small role in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War playing Miriam Sharpe, the mother of an American citizen killed during a battle in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“The universe is vast, but we travel in particular orbits,” Woodard said. “It’s a logistical dilemma, but I think Marvel is smart enough to pull it off.”

Luke Cage Season Two premieres on Netflix June 22.
