On Friday, May 19, the world will take to the big screen to see Amandla Stenberg shine once again.
Starring as “Maddy” in her latest highly anticipated film, Everything, Everything, the 18-year-old Hunger Games actress and activist is sure to steal hearts and command tears in what has been described as a touching teen love story.
“What it means to me to be the female lead in this movie is all about the effect that I think it can have on the viewers, which is gonna be a lot of kids,” Stenberg told EBONY. “I think for them to see that diversity and that love in a way that’s not any way bias …I think that’s really powerful.”
