Apparently, Kevin Durant & ‘The Bachelorette’ Dated In College

Kevin Durant is currently hooping it up in the NBA Finals for the Golden State Warriors while Rachel Lindsay is being wined and dined as the first Black Bachelorette on ABC. However, it looks like these gorgeous people have an unexpected past. According to US Weekly, the pair were actually a couple at the University of Texas at Austin. Lindsay was snagging her Bachelor’s degree in sports management before attending law school at Marquette University.

A source told the magazine that their split was amicable and that the pair decided to end things when Rachel headed to law school. However, “It was a pretty serious relationship.” The source is unnamed, and neither Lindsay nor Durant have commented on the report, both it’s safe to say that they are both doing well in their lives.

Durant was giving Rihanna the eye during Game 1 of the NBA Finals when he and the Warriors gave LeBron James and the Cavs a run for their money. Also, though we’re currently watching Lindsay’s adventures on ABC, we already know that she’s found love. She told People last month, “I am very much so in love and very much so engaged.”

It would be a plot twist if Durant showed up on an episode of The Bachelorette. Seriously can you imagine the men’s faces especially the annoying “Whaboom” dude? We guess we’re just going to have to keep watching to find out.
