Actress Stacey Dash’s recent quip about getting rid of Black History Month and BET prompted a huge Black Twitterverse backlash almost as big as the predicted East Coast snowstorm this weekend. But the most noticeable response was from BET itself. Who knew a whole network was capable of such a clapback?

But it’s true. On its Twitter page, BET reminded Dash that she made cameo appearances in its show “The Game.”

Dash has yet to respond to BET’s shade throw, but insisted she was right on a Patheos blog post and managed to invoke actor Morgan Freeman as someone who agrees with her. No word on whether or not she’ll be refunding her payment back to BET.
