As a showcase for celebrating the best in African-American achievement across a bunch of different disciplines, the BET Honors puts on a stellar show every year. Last night, performances by Mariah Carey ("You're Mine [Eternal]") and Tamar Braxton ("Upside Down") turned out the crowd, amid tributes to Aretha Franklin and the late, great Nelson Mandela.
