‘Black Panther’ Soundtrack Poised for No. 1 Chart Debut

The soundtrack to the highly-anticipated film, Black Panther, is set to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 albums chart.

Billboard reports that Black Panther: The Album is projected to get the top spot, according to industry forecasters.

The soundtrack was released on Feb. 9 on Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope Records.

The album features music from the hit film, set to release in theaters on Feb. 16.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week. The rankings are based on multi-metric consumption.
