Black Panther has been receiving rave reviews for weeks, only intensifying with it’s Presidents Day Weekend release. Fans from all walks of life are praising the deeply layered superhero flick, including Tyler Perry, who revealed the fictional kingdom of Wakanda was partially recreated on his Atlanta film lot.

The filmmaker took to Instagram to share that Black Panther was one of the first films to shoot on one of is many stages.

“Welcome to Wakanda! You wanna talk about black history! These are the new stages at Tyler Perry Studios. And guess what the first film to shoot on one of the stages was?!”

The playwright founded the studio in 2006, occupying two former Delta Air Lines affiliated buildings in the Greenbriar area of Atlanta, according to TheJasmineBrand.
