[BLACK POP DAILY]Beyoncé Concert Series Airing on HBO

Beyoncé Concert Series to Air on HBO

If you enjoyed watching Beyoncé shake a tailfeather on her self-directed Life Is But a Dream HBO special last year, get ready for some more Bey action on the network because starting June 29, Home Box Office will begin airing 10 four-minute segments of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour (which came to a close in March). The mini-concerts will feature both songs from her recently released, self-titled surprise LP, as well as classics like “Get Me Bodied,” “Baby Boy,” “Diva,” “Girls” and “Why Don’t You Love Me?” Kudos again to Bey, but will you people ever get tired of this lady?

Pharrell to Receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

That’s exactly why Skateboard P is up for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Along with a handful of other stellar entertainers (Pitbull, Kool & the Gang), P will have his name etched in the historic walkway sometime in 2015. Congrats!

Well, according to D’Angelo’s manager Kevin Liles, that long-awaited treasure is definitely coming in 2014. Questlove even claims to know the new title! Although… I wouldn’t get too excited if I were you, because if the past is any indication, this just might be another pacifier to keep us quiet for an extra five years. But who am I to judge?
