Future Battles Baby Mama #2 Over Child Support Payments

Back in June, Future filed documents to be legally recognized as the papi of a child he fathered with a woman named Brittni Mealy. He requested joint custody and an official amount of child support to be paid, but Brittni karate-chopped the rapper with documents of her own, asking for money for months unpaid, as well as future payments (no pun intended). It’s bad enough that he’s still battling BM #1 in the money department, now there’s a number two? Boy, it’s like they’re dropping from the sky. Wallah, magic!

Jay & Bey Rally for Trayvon

Jay Z (formerly known as Jay-Z) and Beyoncé marched through Lower Manhattan alongside 2,000 protestors in support of the Justice for Trayvon Martin rally on Saturday. The star couple (together with Tina Knowles) walked side by side with Trayvon’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, and the Reverend Al Sharpton, who quoted Jay as saying, “ ‘I’m a father. Beyoncé is a mother. We all feel the pain and apprehension—the laws must protect everybody, or it doesn’t protect anybody.’ ” Stars like Jamie Foxx, MC Lyte and Samuel L. Jackson also showed their support over the weekend, attending rallies and voicing their opinions on the Trayvon Martin case.

Lauryn Hill Thanks Fans for Support, Says She’s Doing Well Behind Bars

In a special post on Miss Lauryn Hill’s Tumblr, she acknowledged all of her supporters for their well wishes and the fan mail she receives on a daily basis. The veteran MC made it clear that she had to make some adjustments, but is learning from her time spent in the pen and receiving nothing but love and positivity from her fellow inmates. Good to hear. Hope she’s cooking up some new heat while doing her bid. Imagine what that would sound like. Sheesh!
