Kanye West Premieres Adidas Collection at Private NYC Fashion Show

Yeezy Season is finally here! The Yeezy.Supply countdown finally hit zero yesterday afternoon around 4:30, as Kanye West kicked off a private fashion show at New York City’s Skylight Clarskson. The show, which was streamed to 50 theaters around the world, debuted his YEEZY Season 1 collection and YEEZY BOOST kicks. Jay Z, Diddy, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg and Justin Bieber were all in attendance, as well as Ye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, and daughter, North. Along with couture, Kanye also debuted a new song called “Wolves,” featuring Sia and Vic Mensa, during the show.

Drake Releases Surprise Album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Disses Tyga

It was just another Thursday night. That addictive Shonda Rhimes trinity of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder had just wrapped and while many reached for their pajamas and set their iPhone alarm clocks, Drake woke the entire Internet up by dropping a new album on iTunes called If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, without warning. The 17-track release follows a 15-minute short film Drake released earlier yesterday called Jungle, and features the previously released “6 God” and “Used To,” featuring Lil Wayne, plus a scathing diss to Tyga called “6PM in NY.” Drake’s Views From the 6 album is still expected to be released in 2015. “That was just a little teaser of what’s to come from me,” Drake tweeted. “Just know.”

Jay Z’s Roc Nation Adds a Film and TV Management Branch Called Three Six Zero

Jay Z’s empire continues to thrive. The MC/mogul has announced that his Roc Nation company is joining forces with UK and US-based management company Three Six Group to form a new leg called Three Six Zero Entertainment, a management home for Hollywood figures. Focusing on actors, directors and screenwriters in film, TV and digital spaces, Three Six Zero follows the success of Hov’s Roc Nation and Roc Nation Sports enterprises, and seeks to complete his influence in the entertainment space.
