Bobby Shmurda’s Criminal Lyrics Won’t Be Used Against Him in Court
Despite criticism of his too-real rap song “Hot Ni**a,” Brooklyn spitter Bobby Shmurda hasn’t dry snitched on himself or GS9 crew members via his breakout hit. Arrested and indicted earlier this month on drug, gun and conspiracy charges, the 20-year-old rapper will face trial, but his seemingly self-incriminating record won’t be entered as evidence, according to Jakub Brodowski, a rep for the office of the special narcotics prosecutor. Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, faces eight to 25 years in prison if found guilty of five charges on eight counts. He’s being held in Riker’s Island on $2 million bail.
