The Weeknd Announces Sophomore Album Beauty Behind the Madness

The Weeknd fans have more to be excited about than the fact that it’s Friday. The Toronto singer riding the wave of 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack hit “Earned It” announced that he’s releasing a new album titled Beauty Behind the Madness next month. The 14-song project is the follow-up to his 2013 debut album Kiss Land, and features “Often,” “The Hills” and the ubiquitous “Can’t Feel My Face.” Look for Beauty Behind the Madness to drop on August 28, just before The Weeknd headlines Made in America in Philadelphia.

T.I. Talks Role in Ant-Man

The Kang of the South continues to beef up his Hollywood resume. T.I. appears in the new movie Ant-Man, in a role that seems to be not too far from his reality. “I play Dave, and Dave is in the four-man crew that Scott [a.k.a. Ant-Man] has reluctantly put together,” T.I. shared with HipHopDX. “We all have a common meeting place where we all met in prison… [And we’re all] trying to get our lives straightened out and on the right path.” You can see the rap star get rehabilitated for yourself when Ant-Man hits theaters Friday (July 17).

Halle Berry Wants to Star in a Standalone Storm Movie

Could you handle a full feature film starring Halle Berry sporting form-fitting leather (!) as X-Men’s Storm? According to the 48-year-old actress, she’s game. “Absolutely,” she said yesterday (July 9) when asked about whether she’d consider a standalone movie starring the weather-controlling heroine. “Fans have to tell Fox that that’s what they want to have happen!”
