African Skin-Bleaching Proponent Blasts Lupita Nyong’o on Twitter
Not sure if you all have heard of the buffoonery that is African pop star Dencia and the Whitenicious skin bleaching cream that she markets and used to lighten her own now-gone beautiful brown skin. (I can’t make this stuff up.) Anywho, remember Lupita Nyong’o’s powerful speech at a recent Hollywood event where she read a letter from a fan who’d contemplated buying the creamy skin crack before Lupita stepped onto the scene?
Apparently, Dencia didn’t take too well to her precious Whitenicious being called out, so she hopped on Twitter and bashed the rising star for fading bleaching creams when the “White man pays her” and “owns her.” (Pause. 12 Years a Slave was just a movie, boo. But it sounds like Miss Dencia needs a psychological tune-up and a few hugs.)

Mo’Nique Discusses Her Dramatic 82 Pound Weight Loss
When it comes to holding it down for the big girls, we all know Mo’Nique has never been scared to put on a mini and shake it like Beyoncé, or tell all you “skinny b—–s” where you could go. But over the past year, the Oscar-winning comedian/actress has dropped and impressive 82 pounds! (Homegirl done switched over to the other side!) In a recent interview, she said it was all for the sake of her husband and her kids. Looking good, Mo’!

Timbaland Hired as Songwriter-Producer for Lee Daniel's Empire
Just when you thought Timbaland had done it all, he’s just added another notch to his belt as the official songwriter/producer for the pilot to director Lee Daniels’s upcoming hip-hop drama, Empire. (Where’s Missy Misdemeanor?) The Fox series will star Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, and “revolves around a hip-hop empire and the family that runs it.” (Although I don’t know how they expect people to stay still and watch with Timb on the beats.)
