Whispers surrounding the potential firing of former Miss USA Kenya Moore from popular Bravo hit The Real Housewives of Atlanta began last month after Straight From the A reported she’d been let go for missing a mandatory cast meeting. While she denied the rumor, new reports indicate she may have actually been handed her pink slip, to be replaced by current “friend to the show,” Marlo Hampton.
According to Radar Online, Moore won’t be returning for a single episode throughout Season 11.
“We look forward to welcoming new housewives and telling new authentic stories for Season 11,” a production source told Radar. Reportedly, hiding her wedding from show producers and her husband’s refusal to be seen on camera were the main reasons her contract wasn’t renewed.
Moore was reportedly offered a demotion to “friend of the show,” but wasn’t into the idea.
NeNe Leakes, Porsha Williams, Marlo Hampton, Cynthia Bailey and new full-time housewife, Eva Marcille, all filmed together in Miami last weekend in celebration of Williams’ birthday and Leakes’ latest boutique opening.
Moore took to social media last week to squash rumors of her firing, sharing footage of her confessional looks along with a message saying fans should look forward to growing with her family over the next few months.

I’ve never been called boring 💅🏾 .#Fact love me or hate me I may not be the “fan favorite” (my sister @kandi is and well deserved) but thank you for being invested in my life and continuing to contribute to the success of #RHOA and my success in my career on all levels.”
She went on to say her fans, #TeamTwirl, will get to walk with her on her journey to motherhood as well.
“Don’t worry #teamtwirl you will get to see #babytwirl and all that I’m experiencing as a new wife and mother-to-be one way or another .You will see my raw truth… the good the bad and the ugly one way or another ☺️ .Fact# I am good effing TV! ❤️ .Fact# I will be a HW or nothing at all. 😘”

According to Love B. Scott, Sheree Whitfield has also been given the boot for the second time by Bravo executives and show creator Andy Cohen. Whitfield’s partner-in-crime, Kim Zolciak, technically can’t be fired, as she wasn’t an “official” housewife last season. She has reportedly been asked, however, not to come back at all next year.
