While it has been speculated that Cardi B and Offset are expecting a baby girl, the sex of the unborn child has not been confirmed until now. Cardi officially revealed that she would be having a daughter while on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday (May 7).
Stern asked Cardi, “Do you know what you’re having … what are you having?” and the rapper replied, “I’m having a girl.”
During an interview with The New York Times about her Met Gala dress, Cardi also referred to the baby as “she” when discussing the heaviness of her dress plus the weight of the baby. “Shorty weighs three and a half pounds,” the rapper said.“She do weigh three and a half pounds. That’s pretty good for seven months, right? Because I was born five pounds.”
