The money is just getting longer for Cardi B. But we aren’t too surprised, “I don’t dance now, I make money moves” made it pretty clear from the jump. And we are here for it.

After racking up nine BET Hip Hop Awards nominations, Cardi chatted it up with the “The Breakfast Club” on Friday (September 15) to talk about her debut album, and more. She shared about possibly dropping an album in October but she isn’t totally committed to the idea. “I wanted to drop next month,” she explained. “Every single time I think, ‘I got all the 10 songs,’ I’m like, ‘I’m buggin’. These ain’t it.’ It’s just like, ‘Damn! I’m competing with myself. I’m competing with the goddamn No. 2 record and stuff.’”

But later she hinted toward dropping “something” in the coming weeks. “Y’all know I just put the song [‘Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)’] out three months ago,” she said. “Can I work the record? I got something, but can I just put it out when this record just came out? I got something for y’all. I’m gonna drop something in October, but damn!”
