Charlamagne Tha God will be featured on TVOne’s UNCENSORED. The enigmatic personality who claims “don’t no one run off at the mouth” better than him, shares intimate moments of his rise to fame on the new series. In this clip, Charlamagne talks about nearly falling victim to the street life as he grew up in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. As he began to run with the wrong crowd, CthaGod born Lenard McKelvey talks about being arrested two times. He details how the second arrest which was drug-related helped him to realize he was a bad dealer. In hindsight, the radio veteran says there is no such thing as a good drug dealer as that role lands you one of two places. From that moment on he knew “in order to change my life, I have to change my lifestyle.”
“UNCENSORED: Charlamagne Tha God” airs on March 18, 2018, on TVOne.
