Academy Award-nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor stars in Netflix’s newest original movie Come Sunday as the real-life Pentecostal pastor Bishop Carlton Pearson. The film is based on the true story of Pearson who after a life-changing experience challenges the faith of his congregation by preaching about universal salvation. He begins to present the idea of the non-existence of hell.
Directed by Joshua Marston, the film is to hit the streaming platform on April 13. It will also star Lakeith Stanfield, Condola Rashad, Martin Sheen, Danny Glover and Jason Segel.
