Earlier this week, LAPD camped out outside of Chris Brown’s home following claims he pulled a gun on a woman who was at his residence.

No weapons or drugs were reportedly found in Brown’s home, and he was released from jail after posting $250,000 bail.

Now, the 24-year-old model who launched claims at Brown is rejecting the notion that she has romantic feelings for the superstar.

During an interview with the New York Daily News that took place through text messagingBaylee Curran said she has “never been obsessed with him” or had any romantic feelings for Brown.

The remarks reportedly are in response to allegations by former friend Angel Monroe that Curran has been fixated on the singer since 2012, when the two women met him on the Billboard Music Awards’ red carpet.

“She was obsessed with Chris Brown,” Monroe, a model and musician, told The News Thursday. “She had met him before at a party. She always had a thing for him.”

An old Twitter post from Curran’s account that year suggests she was angling to spend time with Brown.

“Hope to run into you,” she tweeted at Brown on May 19, 2012. The next day she tweeted, “Congrats!! And good seeing you today even if just for a sec 🙂 see you tonight,” to him.

Curran told The News the Billboard encounter was not the first time she met Chris Brown. She described the meeting as being “nice to see an old acquaintance again.”

Curran called 911 around 3 a.m. and told LAPD that Brown threatened her with a gun inside his mansion. She claimed she was admiring a diamond cross neckless displayed by a jeweler inside of his home when he whipped out a gun and yelled for her to get out.

Brown was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon following a police search of the residence. He has a court date set for Sept. 20.

“Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false,” Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos said in a Twitter statement late Tuesday. “It has become apparent that the allegations are not just false but fabricated.”
