Singer Chris Brown was arrested Thursday night after performing in Florida as part of his nationwide Heartbreak on a Full Moon tour, according to TMZ.

Brown, 29, hit the stage at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. Several police officers waited nearby as he performed and took him into custody once he exited the stage.

Authorities say the “Hope You Do” singer was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a felony battery charge in Tampa; Brown is accused of attacking a photographer at a nightclub last year.

He was held for a couple of hours and released on $2,000 bail. Following his release, Brown posted an image on Instagram of himself performing with the caption, “What’s NEW [eye roll emoji]????? Show tomorrow!!!! [heart emoji].”

This is not the singer’s first run-in with the law. He was charged with felony assault and criminal threats in 2009 following a physical altercation with his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown was placed on probation for five years and was sentenced to hours of community service. In 2013, he was arrested along with his bodyguard and charged with felony assault for an incident outside of a hotel in Washington, D.C.

Neither Brown’s team nor his lawyer commented on the latest arrest.
