Who can forget the hilarious commercials in the late 90s with former Orlando Magic player Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway and "Lil Penny" voiced by Chris Rock? The outspoken, ostentatious puppet would crack jokes to promote Nike Air Penny sneakers, and they plan to discuss this and other topics on Thursday when Rock will appear on Hardaway's online program The Bottom Line Sports Show.

Rock, who has since gone on to have a successful film, television, and Broadway career, will discuss his role in popular sneaker culture as well as how the game has changed. “We look forward to them reminiscing on the integral role they played in the explosion of the sneaker culture with the iconic Lil Penny character,” said Gerald Brown, Executive Producer and Founder of the Bottom Line Sports Show. With an impressive guest list that includes Dwyane Wade, Sugar Ray Leonard, Dwight Howard, and Kevin Hart, we’re sure the show will be nothing short of entertaining.
