Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan may be reuniting on-screen for the next installment of the successful Rush Hour franchise, according to Def Pen.
The comedian was on the podcast Winging It, hosted by Atlanta Hawks players Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore, when he said Rush Hour 4 was in the works.
“It’s not in pre-production. We’re working on a few things [for] the script. Jackie wants to do it. I want to do it. The studio wants to do it,” he said. “We’re trying to get it together. It looks like it’s getting together right.”
The Rush Hour franchise has been lucrative. The last film, Rush Hour 3, opened in 2007. The series has grossed more than half a billion dollars at the domestic box office.
