Bill Cosby, Lawyers Want to Block a Subpoena in Past Sex-Assault Case

In the latest round of How to Get Bill Cosby Into a Courtroom?, a subpoena was sent to a Philadelphia lawyer to blow the lid off confidential material from the comedian's Temple University–related lawsuit. The AP reports that Cosby's lawyers moved to block the subpoena Tuesday, arguing that court confidentiality agreements "should not be set aside lightly." The subpoena comes from Tamara Green & Co.'s camp; they claim documents from the Temple suit could help them mount their defamation counterattack.
