Actress Countess Vaughn was recently granted a restraining order by a Los Angeles judge after claiming to have been abused for years at the hands of her ex-boyfriend.
Vaughn claims in documents obtained by The Jasmine Brand that ex David Benjamin Richard Whitten often became insecure with her career success, even throwing bleach on her face to stop her from gaining work. She also told authorities her ex abused her verbally and physically, including incidents of beating, slapping, strangulation and sexual assault. He allegedly went so far as the threaten to kill her and leak an explicit video featuring the former Moesha actress.

Whitten has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Vaughn and her two kids, one of which is biologically his. The exes are scheduled for a court hearing next month.
