Meet the Brown stars Tamela & David Mann sat down with Wendy Williams to discuss 30 years of marriage, raising a blended family and the release of their forthcoming memoir, Us Against the World: Our Secrets to Love, Marriage, and Family.
The power couple spoke about renewing their vows for their 25th anniversary because they never had a big wedding. David wanted to go on vacation but decided to give Tamela the wedding of her dreams.
“It was 25 years. She couldn’t wear white. It was more like cream because we had been dirtied up by that time,” David joked.
The Manns have a “super-blended family,” consisting of five kids: David and Tia, their children together; Porsha and Tiffany, David’s from a previous relationship; Sonia, Tamela’s niece; and 12 grandchildren.
Tamela and David explained how their relationship stood the test of time even when she found out her husband had a baby with another woman.
In their book, the couple gives hilarious and inspiring advice while using their life as examples for building a strong relationship, marriage and family.
Us Against the World: Our Secrets to Love, Marriage, and Family will release on Nov. 13.
