Elise Neal Lands “Scandal” Role

Looks like we'll be seeing more women of color on ABC's breakthrough series, "Scandal." Actress Elise Neal of "The Hughleys" and "All of Us" will be joining Kerry Washington on the show as an attorney with secrets, according to a tweet from Neal. She also tweeted a picture of the two together. The actresses who look more like sisters than co-stars appeared to be filming an episode for the second season of "Scandal," which returns to television this fall.

"Special thanks to everyone on #Scandal this week! @kerrywashington @ABC and the gang #goodtimes," tweeted the actress, verifying speculation. No word yet as to whether Neal will be making a guest appearance or recurring role. In the meanwhile, audiences can catch Neal in "The Under Shepard," an upcoming film about the Black church starring Isaiah Washington and Vanessa Bell Calloway.
