The reality television gods have spoken and it has been decided that the ex-wives of some of our favorite Black actors and comedians will, indeed, be receiving their own stage to talk that talk about their former flames. Let the games begin. Official announcements have been set and dates drawn. Nicole Murphy, Jessica Canseco, Sheree Fletcher, Mayte Garcia and Andrea Kelly will all be starring in an upcoming VH1 reality show, with the first season featuring 10 one-hour episodes.

Apparently, these women have become friends over the years, and can relate to the toll fame and fortune takes on one's personal life and family life as well. While Eddie Murphy, Will Smith, R. Kelly, Prince and Jose Canseco will probably be praying that their dirt doesn't get dug up, each of these women will most certainly reveal other sides to the famous men and shine a light on the often glamorized world of celebrity wives.

Has VH1 run the reality series train into the ground by this point? Or, will this new series on Black Hollywood ex-wives add a much needed dimension to the media's portrayal of Black actors and their families?
