Queen Latifah and Jill Scott will, once again, co-star in a Lifetime original movie. While the musicians-turned-actresses were featured in the network’s 2012 remake of Steel Magnolias, the pair can be seen on the small screen one more time in their latest, Flint.

Lifetime describes the film as “the gripping retelling of a crisis that shook a nation and shines a light on the whistleblowers who exposed the biggest environmental scandal of our generation.”

The film shines a light on four women, Iza (Latifah) Nayyirah (Scott) along with Leanna and Melissa played by Betsy Brandt and Marin Ireland who all experience the effects of the lead infested water and challenge city officials to rectify their life-altering mistake.

The movie also covers pediatrician Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha’s findings that an entire generation of kids were exposed to high-levels of lead poison in the water.

In 2014, city officials switched Flint’s water source from Lake Huron to the Flint River in an effort to cut costs. Historically, water from the Flint River has been poor quality and was “severely eroded due to fecal coliform bacteria, low dissolved oxygen, plant nutrients, oils and toxic substances,” according to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

Flint premieres Oct. 28 at 8p.m. on Lifetime.
