The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is just the latest 1990s classic that may be headed back to the small screen, possibly joining Full House, Will & Grace and more that have already made their return.

Surprisingly, star Will Smith is actually down for the cause, but says it would only work if he took over the role of Uncle Phil, originally played by James Avery, according to BBC’s The Graham Norton Show. “I’d have to be Uncle Phil in that one. I’m about to be 50, you know? Like, ‘c’mon Aunt Viv, I’m 50, I can’t go out on my own?!’”

He later explained that the cast reunites annually for Karyn Parsons’ (cousin Hillary) luncheon where they eat, drink and mingle with the most charitable donors to her organization, The Sweet Blackberry Foundation.

While Smith may have been joking, the casting wouldn’t be too far-fetched. Norton, the show’s host, produced a selfie of Smith’s head while bungee jumping next to Avery’s. The image previously went viral on social media, with fans exclaiming that Smith looked like the Banks family patriarch.

The Oscar nominee graduated to the big screen soon after, and says it’s still difficult for him to watch the first four seasons of the classic sit-com.

“It was my very first role, and I was very, very focused on being successful, so I learned the whole script and everyone else’s lines,” he said. “If you watch the first four or five episodes, you can see I’m mouthing other people’s lines. It’s terrible and I can’t bear to watch it.”
