For the 2018 remake of blaxploitation classic Superfly, Atlanta rapper Future was called upon to play the part of Curtis Mayfield, responsible for curating the film’s soundtrack. With assistance from R&B crooner PartyNextDoor, the super trapper has dropped the film’s first single, “No Shame.”
Filled with scenes from the summer release, Director X keeps the visual simple, with Future, Party and the film’s leading man, Trevor Jackson, shot with a grey background alongside a Cadillac Coupe Deville.
