EBONY cover girl Gabrielle Union has signed a first-look deal with Sony Pictures TV, according to Deadline.
The deal follows the news that Union will star and executive produce L.A. Finest a spin-off of the Bad Boy movie franchise, in which Union starred.
The show, which also stars Jessica Alba, will be developed by Sony Pictures TV.
The two-year deal is in partnership with her production company, “I’ll Have Another,” covers broadcast, cable and digital projects for Sony.
“I am so excited to be back in business with my old Bad Boys family and to have the opportunity to take it a step further and develop projects under the Sony Pictures Television banner is truly an honor,” Union told Deadline. “There is an obvious feeling of change happening in Hollywood and I feel very fortunate to now have the opportunity to create necessary projects that are reflective of those changes.”
