This will be a huge year for Gabrielle Union. Not only will 2018 find her starring in the highly anticipated thriller Breaking In, but the actress will also lead new television series, L.A.’s Finest, which is based on the popular Bad Boys films.
The NBC series will feature Union reprising her role from the 2003 sequel as DEA agent Syd Burnett, sister of Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and one-time girlfriend of Mike Lowrey (Will Smith). Union’s partner, Nancy McKenna, will be played by Sin City actress Jessica Alba, according to The Jasmine Brand.

The series hails from the Bad Boys movies’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Doug Belgrad via his 2.0 Entertainment and Primary Wave Entertainment.
