Has “Linsanity” Gone Overboard?

Hachette Book Group is ready to do a cut-up job in profiling the rise and star power of NBA’s newest sensation—Jeremy Lin. The book entitled, Jeremy Lin: The Reason for the Linsanity, is already completed and is expected to be in stores this May. The compilation, written by Timothy Dalrymple, is just the latest in a growing trend of Lin-side looks at the league’s first Taiwanese-American born athlete.

The Harvard graduate recently became a phenomenal player with the New York Knicks. And his recent prominence has spurred countless puns on his name. Will Lin’s hype bubble burst at the first sign of trouble?
