Long time fans of soul songstress India.Arie may remember the singer doing the big chop back in 2003. She’s since allowed her hair to grow out, and has been rocking various natural styles ever since. The star even released an ode to her many hair transformations, “I Am Not My Hair,” in 2006.
The four-time Grammy winner has, once again, opted for a low cut, admitting that while her mother isn’t a fan, her “love” is and she’s very happy with the decision. Check out the singer’s new look below.
Arie’s reveal follows fellow artist Tamar Braxton’s big chop, which she shared via Instagram as well.
