Queen Sugar actor Kofi Siriboe has been shooting his shot with Insecure creator Issa Rae for almost a year now, and it looks like she may have finally come around.
In a new interview with People, mutual friend Tiffany Haddish dished on building friendships with her co-stars, saying she’s still in contact with her pals from Girls Trip, including Jada Pinkett Smith’s love interest, Siriboe.
During the Q&A, Haddish revealed that the 6’2” heartthrob and the HBO star showed up at her Atlanta home together one afternoon for lunch.
“I’m in Atlanta shooting a movie and Kofi Siriboe came over to my house the other day with Issa Rae and ate fried chicken and drank all my soda!”
While killing a few pieces of chicken together hardly means these two are exclusive, Siriboe’s ongoing interest in the brilliant writer has a few fans wondering if they’re giving love a chance.
Back in February, the 23-year-old actor posted a photo of himself dressed to the nines for the NAACP Awards, captioning the sexy flick “Issa Rae is still bae.”
When Rae jokingly responded, “Boy, Stop Playing” in his comment section, his reply was simply “BAE.”
Four months later, Siriboe retweeted Rae’s poster art for Season 2 of Insecure, along with the caption “Issa Bae.”
