Journalist and filmmaker Michael Segalov created a Twitter thread asking his followers to share “the most surreal encounter” they’ve had with a celebrity. Though several people shared hilarious stories, it was Harry’s that sparked a widespread reaction.
“Eartha Kitt slapped the f%#! outta me!” the former 227 and Sister, Sister star wrote.
Harry went on to explain that the violent run-in with the international star happened because they were seeing the same man.
“She thought I was sleeping with her boyfriend.. which I was, but I didn’t know he was taken,” she wrote, inserting with a broken heart emoji.
Singer, dancer, activist and actress Kitt, who died in 2008 at the age of 81, was known for her outspokeness.
