The Chi actor Jacob Latimore recently sat down with EBONY to discuss his new Netflix film, The Last Summer, a coming-of-age story of a group of teens figuring out life after high school.
Latimore loved that several of his peers from other popular television shows were involved, and working on film gave him the chance to embrace life as an average teenager, something he had not really experienced.
“I knew what I wanted to do so early, that sometimes I feel like I can’t relate to the average teenager . . . I was homeschooled [during] middle school and at 13, I was signed. I was on the road, I was doing films.”
