While under the care of his father, Wissam Al Mana, Janet Jackson felt the need to contact police to check on her 1-year-old son, Eissa, over the weekend.
Cops responded to a call from the recent Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award Winner shortly before 10 p.m. at the Nobu Hotel, according to Entertainment Tonight. Jackson’s brother Randy spoke to the outlet regarding the call.
Mr. Jackson claims his sister called the police because her nanny contacted her first, frightened by Al Mana’s behavior. He claims the sitter was, “terrified by his behavior and locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.”
Randy has also previously claimed that Al Mana was verbally abusive to the “All for You” singer, telling People, “It was quite an abusive situation. It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home.”
“No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a b*tch every day. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.”
Neither Janet nor her estranged husband have addressed the 911 call.
