The Meadows Music and Arts Festival was jammed packed with A-List performances from the likes of Migos, 21 Savage, Future, Erykah Badu and the Mogul himself, JAY-Z.

During his headlining set, which went down on the first night of the three-day festival, Hov took the opportunity to give a shout out to Colin Kaepernick. Before performing the highly-acclaimed “The Story of O.J,” the Brooklyn born Mogul showed love to the quarterback/activist.

I want to dedicate this song to Colin Kaepernick tonight,” said JAY, according to ESPN. “I want to dedicate this song to anyone that was held back and you overcame.” Additionally, Hov also honored the late Dick Gregory as well, before kicking off the song.
