Sports journalist Jemele Hill and her fiancé, Ian Wallace, did it up big for their engagement in Hill’s hometown of Detroit. In addition to celebrating their upcoming nuptials with family and friends, the couple filmed their own version of JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s 2018 video Apesh*t.

The podcast host shared the engagement video to her Instagram TV page, along with the caption, “We did the damn thing.” The clip shows the couple re-creating looks and scenes from The Carters’ video shot in Paris. Hill and Wallace filmed the artful piece at the Detroit Public Library and Detroit Institute of Arts. The end of the clip finds the couple dressed in all white, dancing to another song from the couple, “Summer,” from the album Everything is Love. Check out the video below.
