Jill Scott Shares Story

Coming back for its 16th season is VH1’s "Storytellers." The music diary that hones in on an artist while they play live music has featured Maxwell, Mary J. Blige, and Lenny Kravitz. This week, VH1 announced that Jill Scott will be on the new season, giving fans a glimpse into her life and passion through music.

“Our audience is hungry for the kind of deeper musical experience and connection to artists that "Storytellers" brings,” VH1 President Tom Calderone said in a press release. “That connection has cemented the series’ status as a jewel of the entertainment world where artists intimately share their music and the often revealing and poignant stories behind their songs.” The Grammy award-winning singer kicks off the premiere episode May 21st.
