Award-winning singer and pianist John Legend has decided to use his life to inspire a television show. Fox TV has recently picked up a comedy project from Legend's Get Lifted Film Company. The project's storyline is said to be tailored loosely around the "Best You Ever Had" singer's life growing up.

The show will center around a 20-something young man, responsible for being a guardian to his siblings while also juggling a burgeoning career and his social life. Legend, who will serve as a executive produce, has yet to announce any stars for the untitled project. Writers Tommy Dewey and Greg Bratman have been tapped to pen the pilot.
