Just a few days after Tia Mowry debuted her latest baby bump on Instagram, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has announced not only her own pregnancy, but dropped the news that she’s been secretly married for 4 months!
The singer shared the news with People, revealing that she and husband Dana Isaiah wed last July and are expecting their first bundle of joy next spring.
“We’re both really excited,” said the 27-year-old songstress. “He’s been like, ‘I want to shout it from the mountain tops!’ We’re really proud to be married to each other and to be celebrating this.”

The pair met in February of this year during Super Bowl weekend in Houston, TX. Later, both of their mothers connected them through a group chat with the hopes of Sparks convincing her future lover not to move to the west coast.
“My mom was trying to get [Jordin] to talk me out of moving to L.A. because she’s experienced the industry out here,” he says. “It wasn’t like, ‘We want you guys to date.’”
As time went on, the Sparkle actress and aspiring model bonded over their close family ties and shared Christian faith.
“A couple days after we had actually met, I was like in my head ‘That’s going to be my husband! That’s my husband right there,’” said Sparks. “When I’m with him, I feel comfort and safety and calm and peace, and those aren’t things that I normally felt. So it was a little wake-up call for me.”
