This year's BET Hip Hop Awards show should be called the Kanye West show, considering the rapper has been nominated for a whopping 17 awards. A huge feat, being that there are 18 categories. While Mr. West had everyone watching the throne, he proceeded to land nominations like for Producer of the Year, Director of the Year, Hustler of the Year, and Best Live Performance.
Other artists set to receive a great deal of attention at this year's show include newcomer 2 Chainz, who racked up 13 nods, and award show darling Drake, who scored 11 nominations.The full list of nominees were announced on Wednesday night's episode of BET's "106 & Park." Hosted by comedian and "Sparkle" actor Mike Epps, the seventh annual BET Hip Hop Awards Show will air on Oct. 9.
