Kanye West to Start Music Program for Teens, Young Adults

Kanye West Helps Kids In Chicago’s Southside Learn Music Through New Program, ‘Got Bars?’

The inimitable Kanye West and fellow Chicago rapper/Yeezus contributor/former aldermen candidate Rhymefest plan on teaching at-risk kids in Chicago’s Southside about beats, rhymes and life.

In conjunction with West’s non-profit organization Donda’s House and St. Sabina Church, the two rappers will head Got Bars?, a free, 10-week program aimed at kids ages 15-24 to help write and record their own music.
