Fresh off his headline-making stint on Saturday Night Live, Kanye West will visit President Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner at the White House on Thursday, CNN reports.
The rapper will have lunch with Trump and Kushner to discuss “manufacturing resurgence in America, prison reform, how to prevent gang violence and what can be done to reduce violence in Chicago,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement to NBC News.
West has come out in support of the president in recent months calling him his “brother,” donning “Make America Great Again” hats on television and social media.
The Yeezy designer’s wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian West, met with Trump in May and successfully got the life sentence for Alice Marie Johnson, who was in prison for a non-violent drug conviction, commuted.
