NBA baller Kevin Durant is the latest athlete to dabble in television, as the Golden State Warrior’s new series, Swagger, has been picked up by Apple, Deadline reports.

The basketball-themed drama will be produced by Durant and his company, Thirty Five Ventures, Shots Fired co-creator Reggie Rock Bythewood, Imagine Television and CBS TV Studios, where Imagine TV has a first-look deal.

The series is inspired by Durant’s time as a young athlete, exploring the ups and downs of the AAU and how a player’s ambition can affect their families, coaches and overall career. Bythewood is set to write and direct, and will also serve as showrunner.

Durant’s venture into television comes shortly after fellow basketball star LeBron James made his way to Hollywood. Currently, James is behind HBO’s The Shop, ESPN’s More Than an Athlete and Showtime’s Shut Up and Dribble.
