Key & Peele to Reunite for Stop-Motion Netflix Film, ‘Wendell & Wild’

Fresh off his Oscar win for Best Original Screenplay, Jordan Peele will professionally reunite with good friend and collaborator Keegan-Michael Key for Wendell and Wild, a new stop-motion animated film from Henry Selick, best known for his work on classics such as, Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach and Coraline.

Selick shared with Variety back in 2015 that the story would center on “two scheming demon brothers,” who must face their nemesis, “the demon-busting nun Sister Helly, and her two acolytes, the goth teens Kat and Raoul.”

The stop-motion pro will be co-writing the script with Peele and Clay McLeod Chapman, according to MTV News.
