It appears Lala Anthony's featured role on STARZ hit Power has earned the talented diva a starring role and executive producer credit on a series of her own.

Deadline reports that the actress will lead new drama Intercepted, produced by Power co-star 50 Cent as a part of a $150M partnership between the network and his G-Unit Film & Television, Inc. The show is based on the book of the same name by Alexa Martin. It is the first of a series, The Playbook, inspired by the eight years Martin spent as an NFL wife.

"Described as a funny and fresh contemporary romance, Intercepted centers on Marlee Harper (Anthony), who is the perfect girlfriend," reads a press release. "She’s sure had enough practice, dating her NFL-star boyfriend for the last 10 years. But when her relationship unexpectedly ends, she vows to never date an athlete again. Only one problem: Gavin Pope, the new star quarterback in town, has Marlee in his sights."

50 also has several other shows in development at STARZ, including a Power prequel and his highly anticipated BMF series, based on notorious drug organization the Black Mafia Family.
